See, this is why I don't trust cats. One minute, they're all cute and chasing string; the next minute, they're hunched over a map of the world, ready to unleash feline hellfire.
Inspired by three distinct sources:
1) The fantastic art of *wingedsiamese
2) Baroque painting, which is awesome in a way that I will never be
3) The book "Bad Cat" by Jim Edgar
I highly recommend "Bad Cat" for anyone who enjoys drawing cats. The photos are hilarious, and I have never seen such wonderful expressions on a kitty before!
I used one of those replica antique maps as a reference for the map the kitties are using. I will never do this again, as painting that map is a horror which will live with me for the rest of my life. UGH.
I entertain the vain hope that you'll full view out of the goodness of your hearts.

i love the evil kitty grin on the tiger-striped cat as he listens raptly to the other cat.... "and then we'll take france for the wine, and germany for the chocolate, and ooh! russia for those cute little dolls that have more little dolls inside!" bravo on the painting job -- so smooth and pretty..... =3 your efforts on the map really paid off; it's gorgeous.
