Windsonde/Agrondrae: Human fashion by hellcorpceo Windsonde/Agrondrae: Human fashion by hellcorpceo
A quick visual reference for human fashion for :iconwindsonde: and :iconagrondrae:. Style is based on mid- to late-eighteenth-century (1700s) European fashion, with some fantasy elements thrown in.

Colors and fabrics vary; silks and satins for the upper class, coarser fabrics for the lower. If your character is poor, start with middle/working class style and just crap it up a bit.

There is no need for you to stick religiously to these ideas--just think of them as a starting point! For Agrondrae only, you may also incorporate more high-fantasy elements like cloaks and light armor.

This is really not good general historical reference. Some of the things are from the mid-18th century, some are from the late 1700s, and some have no historical basis at all.

Even with those giant ballgowns? Did they take 'em off, or was there a special, uh, latch that opened?
