Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Adblock Plus is awesome

If you use Firefox, get thee to [link] and install this add-on. Among other things, it will block the super-annoying giant popups for movies and cars (you know the ones--they show up when the page loads and take over your screen with an irritating animation). It will also disable the intrusive ads that certain art sites like to put everywhere. >>

Edit: To clarify, I have don't mind unobtrusive ads that hang out in the page margins. What made me install the add-on was that there were some ads on this page and others that were hanging up the browser and keeping the page from loading. I finally got frustrated and Adblockinated everything.

If I didn't have Kaspersky, I would use this in conjunction with noscripts. In any case, nice find. Not a fan of the full page flash ads myself.

I love AdBlock but I am I the only one that has tons of other problems with Firefox and dA? Like, inability to delete anything in my message box or vote in polls, etc?

The only error I get is that it occasionally tells me I can't delete messages, although I don't know if that's DA or Firefox burping up.

Yeh for me it never ever deletes anything unless I use a different browser like Safari (which has no AdBlock. D:).

But I've only had the problem since I started using Vista so I'm choosing to blame that. XD I blame it for everything else.

Haha, there's also another way to block these adds on this site ;)


But I def will install that add-on. It seems these pop ups are getting more prevalent... and it's so annoying to have to refresh a page five times in order to be able to pay attention to the content instead of the advertisements.
