I just upgraded from Manga Studio Debut 3 to Debut 4, and let me tell you that it is a sexy, sexy thing. They took everything I liked about the older version and made it better, more responsive, and easier to use. (Auuugh I sound like a press release.) I always used Debut 3 to do my inking for personal projects and for work--it was fun, but still a little difficult at times. Now I am literally running around looking for excuses to ink things in the new one. It's that much fun.

Best of all, if you have version 3, you can upgrade to 4 for only twenty bucks. Linky go here: [link]

I know the program is a little counter intuitive, so if you do happen to get it and run into trouble, hit me up with a note and I'll see if I can sort you out.

I. Love. This. Program.

cool someone who know this program!

well i have had this program since September it had work great for a month or two then it wouldn't let me export a file in any format, now recently it won't let me import any file. I'm figuring i need to reinstall it, but if you have any advise that would be awesome! and your right Manga Studio is awesome when its not wigging out.

Oh yes, counter-intuitive is the word to use here. A friend of mine gave me her version, because I "only" had OpenCanvas 1.1 and ArtRage 2.0 to play with which are basically brushes already loaded with colour in term of intuitive use, but with MS I'm SO lost
I'm already happy if I even get to draw a line D:

If you ever have the time to make a very basic tutorial, or can recommend one, I'd be grateful, because some of the things I found by playing around really do look snazzy

I'll see if I can do that! The biggest issues I've found are generally in setting up the layers and workspace to do what you want, and then the drawing itself is the easy part.

yeah, exactly, these are my biggest issues. I do play around and scribble with it. It would be so awesome to get it do the thing I want it to do, because the lines look so :la::heart: with it.

thanks a lot ^^

Nice! Not a bad price too. If I hadn't just broke the bank for Creative Suite I'd be tempted. Anyway, glad you're enjoying it! :D
